How to use them

  1. Put the get out, stay out, call 999 poster where people will pass it every day, such as by the main entrance.
  2. Use the common causes poster in team meetings or toolbox talks to start a conversation.
  3. Pin the fire safety words poster in induction rooms so new starters learn the vocabulary.
  4. Send the home poster to staff in a newsletter, or hang it in the staff room.
  5. Pair these with the alarm and evacuation posters in our fire safety set.

About these posters

There are four printable posters: a bold get out, stay out, call 999 message, the common causes of fires at work, a plain-English guide to fire safety words such as call point, fire door and assembly point, and a fire safety at home list. They are general awareness posters and do not give any advice on tackling a fire. Use them alongside our fire safety posters, which cover the alarm routine and an end-of-day check. Each poster comes in A4 and A3 PDF.

Can I use them at home?

Yes. The fire safety at home poster is written for households, and the rest work in any building.

How is this set different from the fire safety posters?

The fire safety posters cover the alarm routine, building awareness and an end-of-day check. This set covers prevention, vocabulary and home safety.
