Warning sign - yellow triangle
Wet Floor Signs
A wet floor sign warns people to slow down where the floor is slippery. Cleaners, caretakers and shop staff use them every day, so these printable wet floor signs are quick to grab and print: A5 for a door or tent card, A4 for most uses, A3 for large entrances. Pick the symbol sign (yellow triangle with a slipping figure), a plain text sign, or the black-and-white version that costs almost nothing in ink. Put the sign where people will see it before they step on the wet area, and take it away once the floor is dry.

Print tips
- Print at "actual size" or 100%, not "fit to page", so the margins stay even.
- Use thicker paper or card (160gsm or more) if the sign will be handled.
- For outdoor or long-term use, laminate it or buy a rigid version.
Where to use it
- Near mopped floors in offices, shops and schools
- At entrances on rainy days
- Beside spills while the clean-up is organised
- Kitchens, bathrooms and changing rooms
- Outdoor steps and paths in frosty weather
Questions
Where should I put a wet floor sign?
Before the wet area, where people can see it as they approach, not on the wet patch itself.
How long can I leave it there?
Only while the floor is wet. A sign left up after the hazard is gone teaches people to ignore signs.
Is a sign enough for a spill?
No. A sign warns people; clean the spill up promptly.
Can I fold the sign into a tent?
Print A4 portrait or landscape, fold it in half and stand it on the floor like a tent card.
