Questions
Is a wash your hands sign a legal requirement?
It depends on your setting. We cannot say that a sign is legally required for you. A sign is a reminder; it does not replace soap, warm water and drying facilities.
Why are the signs blue?
A blue disc with a white symbol is the convention for a mandatory action, something people must do. Hand washing in a food or care setting often counts. The text-only version is for places where a blue sign is not needed.
Can I stick the sign on a mirror or tiles?
Yes, but print on adhesive paper or use a plastic sleeve and tape, because bathrooms are damp and plain paper curls.
